Student Event Request

Use this form to submit an event idea, reserve a room at Hillel, or request funding.

It will be at the discretion of the Berkeley Hillel staff with input from the Hillel Student Board to determine space, funding, and other resource allocation on a case-by-case basis based on the student’s adequate compliance with all these expectations. When allocating space and resources Berkeley Hillel takes into account not only the compliance to our expectations, but also gives priority to those student leaders who actively advance Berkeley Hillel’s mission. Funding may be available up to $150 per event. 

Berkeley Hillel Policy on Sponsorship and Advertising (Weekly Emails, Calendar or Instagram): Berkeley Hillel will only advertise on Instagram, weekly emails and the calendar those events that are organized by a Jewish group, student leaders or campus entity when they are organized in collaboration and partnership with the Berkeley Hillel staff on that particular event. An exception to this will be any event organized by the Center for Jewish Studies, Magnes Museum, the Antisemitism Education Initiative or the Helen Diller Institute on Israeli and Jewish Law. Berkeley Hillel may choose on a case by case event to advertise those entities events even if they are not working with the Berkeley Hillel staff.
