Mishelanu

Mishelanu is a club that aims to connect students of Israeli and Israeli-American backgrounds to form strong ties and support on campus, all while having fun. At Berkeley’s campus, our club manifests as the Israeli culture hub of Hillel, hosting Israeli events and festivities, fruitful conversations over Whatsapp, and Cafe Ivrit – a place we can gather to eat, drink, and talk in Hebrew!
אז יאללה! אם אתם מעוניינים בואו להגיד שלום!
Cafe Ivrit is every week at Hillel at 5 p.m. right before BBQ – either outside on the patio or upstairs.
Join our Whatsapp group at this link to be updated on all our events! For more info, reach out to our fellows, Ron and Danielle.

Ron Barzilay, ’23

Ron is a senior undergrad studying Data Science and Political Science. He grew up in Sunnyvale but his whole family is from Tel Aviv, Israel. This is his third year as a Mishelanu fellow, and he’s stayed so involved because he loves the warmth of the Israeli community and the fun that comes about from sharing in Israeli culture. Contact him at ronba7@berkeley.edu.
