Jews of Color Collective

Coming to college offers a wonderful opportunity to explore your relationship to others and even yourself, but may feel harder to do so in spaces where you don’t feel seen. Berkeley Hillel’s Jews of Color (JoC) student group offers an affinity space to counter that. Our primary goal is to create community and foster a sense of one’s Jewish ownership through sharing food, personal stories, discourse, and more. In doing so, we make visible our historically underrepresented experiences. So, regardless of year, observance, or politics: if you are a Jewish Person of Color, come get to know us at one of our weekly meetings or events!

We’ll meet Mondays at 5pm at Hillel and other locations. Join our Slack!
