Savyon is a licensed therapist here to help students navigate the big and small challenges of the college experience. After completing a Master’s in Social Work from Smith College, Savyon engaged in a Fellowship of College Counseling at Emory to develop a specialty in working with undergraduate and graduate students. She is passionate about supporting students in building confidence, contentment, and joy in their lives. She works with students holding diverse identities, exploring their sexuality, queerness, and gender. She artfully assists students in navigating the challenges of college and life in a competitive academic and social environment. She knows that it is possible for students to develop skills to still feel joy, balance, and energy despite it all.
Having worked at Berkeley Hillel in the past, she is thrilled to support the Hillel students as the Wellness Therapist. When she’s not doing therapy, you’ll find her basking in the sun, submerged in water (ocean, river, pool, you name it!), and cooking elaborate vegetarian meals for friends and family.
