Oren Gabriel

Oren Gabriel is Founder and CEO of NextPlayU. NextPlayU is a talent development and recruiting platform that empowers former college and professional athletes in their transition to meaningful new careers. Prior to NextPlayU Oren served as Vice President of Strategy and Operations at Lincoln Avenue Capital, one of the nation’s fastest-growing developers, investors, and operators of affordable housing. Before Lincoln Avenue Capital, Oren was Chief of Staff to the CFO of the University of California. Oren also worked in the Los Angeles and San Francisco offices of Bain & Company, where he advised clients in the biotechnology, public utility, and technology sectors on issues of business strategy and operations.

Oren earned his MBA and a Certificate in Public Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he was selected as an Arbuckle Leadership Fellow.  He received his B.S. in Business Administration with High Honors from the U.C. Berkeley Haas School of Business. At Berkeley, Oren served as President of the Associated Students of the University of California and was a Regents Scholar.  He also was a practice player on the Cal Women’s Basketball team.
