Noah is excited to join the UC Berkeley Hillel team as a Program & Engagement Coordinator! Noah’s journey has taken him all over the globe – born in New York City, spending some time in Toyohashi, Japan, before his family eventually settled in San Mateo. He later completed his undergraduate studies at UC San Diego, where he earned a degree in Cognitive Sciences.
Throughout his life, he’s been deeply involved in Jewish communities. From attending Sunday school at his local synagogue to two years in the Jewish Federation of SF’s Teen program, Noah has always kept his Jewish community close. He also spent his youth at Wornick Jewish Day School and is an active member of Peninsula Temple Beth El in San Mateo.
One of Noah’s main interests is fostering connections between the Asian American and Jewish American communities. His recent trip to Israel with the Birthright program further ignited his passion for Jewish causes and strengthened his desire to make a meaningful impact in the Jewish world.
Noah just moved to San Francisco with his cousin, who also happens to work in the Jewish world! When he’s not working, Noah enjoys spending quality time with his dogs, diving into art and photography, and exploring new places. Fun fact: he’s a dual citizen!
