This week: 
Berkeley Hillel is excited to welcome critically acclaimed journalist and author Lee Yaron to speak on Thursday, April 3rd, during Challah for Hunger. Lee Yaron has an extensive history of climate correspondence, documentary filmmaking, and authorship. She is the founder of Green Idea, the Middle East’s first journalist training program dedicated to climate coverage, and was the Environmental Fellow at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. Most recently, her book 10/7 was awarded the National Jewish Book Awards’ 2024 Book of the Year. Come braid challah in community and stay to hear from Lee Yaron as she speaks about her work as Israel’s leading environmental journalist.
