Dorothy Day House Volunteer Sign-Up

Sukkot is a holiday that highlights vulnerability as we build temporary shelters outside. As we celebrate, we will also support those who are most vulnerable in the Berkeley community. Berkeley Hillel will be taking a group of students to volunteer at Dorothy Day House, a shelter with wrap around services for Berkeley’s houseless community.

On October 4th, we will meet at the Berkeley Hillel building at 9:30 am to do some light learning and set intentions in the sukkah. We will leave promptly at 9:45 am for Dorothy Day House in order to arrive on time for our 10 am volunteer shift.

Sign-ups have now closed; stay tuned for more service opportunities coming up!
