Data Intern

The Berkeley Hillel Data Intern is responsible for managing our database of student events and information. Hours are flexible but regular communication with the Director of Leadership is expected to discuss the progress of tasks and projects. The exact hours will vary based on workload, but will generally run 3-5 hours/week during the regular academic year. This position runs from August-May.

Why Data?

Berkeley Hillel asks for student information at all of our programs and events. Our community believes that each participant should be known by name, and data helps us do that! We are able to learn more about who comes to our events and programs and can build relationships with individual students because of our sign-in processes. Data also helps us with our fundraising goals – donors like to know about what they are funding! The information we gather helps us understand and communicate student engagement in the Jewish community at Cal.
