Berkeley Hillel Open Space

At Berkeley Hillel, we are cultivating a culture of dialogue through empowering students to have honest, meaningful and challenging conversations with each other. We will provide the space, coffee, and a list of dialogue best practices – you’ll provide the content.

How it works:

• Any student(s) interested in facilitating a conversation about any topic submits a “Berkeley Hillel Open Space” proposal. These conversations are “by students, for students,” which means that they are hosted by individuals (rather than any group/organization/club), and are only open to other students.
• The Berkeley Hillel Staff receives it, approves it, and adds it to the calendar along with the other “Berkeley Hillel Open Space”s happening.
• The facilitator(s) can promote it through their own mediums, using the advertising parameters discussed with Berkeley Hillel.
