Jewish Cooking Classes

The idea for this class came from a conversation with a student who wanted to learn how to make Israeli Salad. They asked, “how do you make this? It’s so good!”

“It’s so easy,” I said. “You just chop the vegetables and add lemon, olive oil, salt and pepper.”

“I don’t have any of those things at my apartment,” they replied. “And I don’t know how to cut a cucumber.”

Thus the seed of this idea was planted. No formal curriculum exists because it’s for you. What do you want to know? What do you want to learn how to make?
