Mitzvote 2024

Election year is here! Our Jewish tradition compels us to be active participants in our democracy. In Pirkei Avot, we are taught “it is not up to you to finish the work, but you are not free to abandon it.” Mitzvote is our non-partisan campaign to mobilize Jewish students and get out the vote!
Throughout the semester, Mitzvote will provide opportunities for students to register to vote, engage in phone banking and postcarding, and learn from peers and professors about what is on the ballot this fall.
MitzVote Lunch & Learn – October 22nd
As the fall election approaches, join Dan Lindheim, Goldman School of Public Policy Professor and Faculty Director of the Center on Civility and Democratic Engagement, for a lunch & learn at Berkeley Hillel. Professor Lindheim will be sharing nonpartisan information and wisdom regarding the Fall 2024 candidate races and ballot measures, spanning local, state, and national elections.
Lunch & Learn will be held in the Berkeley Hillel Sukkah.
Please RSVP below if you plan on joining us!
