J Street U at Berkeley

J Street U at Berkeley is the UC Berkeley chapter of J Street U, a national organization that seeks to stop the polarization surrounding Israel’s political situation and provide a voice for students who want to find a new path to meaningfully engage in work surrounding Israel/Palestine. J Street U seeks to provide guidance, education, and resources to students who seek to impart a progressive voice into the campus conversation on Israel/Palestine. We recognize it is challenging to have conversations about Israel that include meaningful criticism of the Israeli government while respecting its right to exist. J Street U seeks to create spaces for these nuanced conversations.
