Title: Schultz Upperclassmen Engagement Fellow

I am in the class of 2021 studying Political Science concentrating in International Relations. I was born and raised in Guangzhou, China, but came to Berkeley by way of Orange County, CA. I identify as Jewish and Chinese, and as a Jew of Color. I am involved with Hillel because I want to continue to learn about my Jewish heritage and be active in a welcoming Jewish community, something I didn’t have growing up. I also want to work towards engaging Jewish folx of Color at Hillel utilizing my background in community organizing and racial justice work. Outside of Hillel, I am in the leadership of Mixed @ Berkeley, and a staff writer at the Berkeley Political Review World section. A fun fact about me is I am fluent in the three most spoken languages in the US (guess what they are!).
