Elysa’s pronouns are she/her/hers. Elysa loves being part of Hillel because she loves being part of a Jewish community on campus. In high school, Elysa was on the northern California regional board for United Synagogue Youth, and loved being active in that community. Through that role, she grew super passionate about environmentalism—she even carry my reusable bamboo silverware and a metal straw around with her practically everywhere! If you ever want to chat about sustainability, Elysa is definitely your gal! On campus, she is part of the programming team of her sorority, and is one of the co-secretaries of Blackwell Hall Association. She loves eating sugary snacks, reading, and watching Disney movies (please challenge her to a sing-off; while she can’t sing, she does know all the words to any Disney song). During the Fall 18 semester she was part of the Shabbat Hosting Lab fellowship and loved it, so feel free to ask her about it!
