Elizabeth Friedman Branoff

Elizabeth Friedman Branoff currently serves as Chief Director, Development at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.  Over eight years in her role at Berkeley Haas, she has raised major gifts for the business school and a variety of its initiatives.  Her special fundraising focus is the Institute for Business and Social Impact, along with its centers including the Center for Responsible Business, the Center for Social Sector Leadership, the Global Social Venture Competition, the Clean Tech to Market program, and Gender Equity initiatives.  Prior to her time at UC Berkeley, Elizabeth served for seven years as the Bay Area Director for the American Jewish World Service.  Previous roles in the Bay Area include Tikkun Olam Coordinator at the SF Jewish Community Relations Center, development at The Asia Foundation, and co-director of the Interfaith Coalition for Immigrant Rights. While in Washington, D.C., Elizabeth worked for the Science and Human Rights Program at the American Association for the Advancement of Science and was a Legislative Assistant at the Religious Action Center.  Elizabeth is an active member of Congregation Beth El in Berkeley where she serves on various committees. She lives in Albany, CA with her husband and two children.
