Bob Tandler, a native of St. Louis, Missouri, is the Co-CEO of Fritzi Realty and Co-Managing Member of Tehama Partners, LLC which have developed high-rise residential real estate in San Francisco’s SOMA Transit District and own and manage real estate in San Francisco, Seattle, and Spanish Fork, UT.
Bob received his BA (’73) and JD (’77) from Washington University in St. Louis. From 1977-1986 he practiced law in San Francisco, joined his wife’s (Valli Benesch) family apparel and real estate business Fritzi of California in 1986, became its Co-CEO in 1994 (and Co-CEO of Fritzi Realty in 1998). He is also an experienced Bay Area Angel investor as a partner in The Angels’ Forum and the Keiretsu Forum.
Bob has been active in the San Francisco and Jewish communities, including board memberships with SPUR, SF Chamber of Commerce, SF Maritime Museum, Merola Opera Program, American Conservatory Theater, Jewish Community Federation, American Israeli Political Affairs Committee, SF Hillel, Berkeley Hillel, Hebrew Free Loan Association, Jewish Community Center of San Francisco, Jewish Family and Children’s Services ,Jewish Community Relations Council and Zuckerberg SF General Hospital.
Bob and Valli have been married for 34 years and have worked together for 33 years. They live in San Francisco and have two adult daughters, Michelle and Jaclyn. Bob is passionate about parenting, San Francisco, Judaism, the outdoors (hiking, SF Bay swimming and cycling), art, theater, opera, and travel.
