Hannah Caplan

Hi everyone! My name is Hannah Caplan (she/her), and I am a senior double majoring in Social Welfare and Society and Environment. Outside of Hillel, I am a part of the Cal ACLU club and work with Shalom Bayit, a Jewish domestic violence organization to bring their trainings to Berkeley students. I have been involved with Hillel since I transferred to Berkeley in Fall 2022 from a community college in Los Angeles. I have been involved through the Repair the World Fellowship, the Upperclassmen Schultz Fellowship, Dayenu, and Challah for Hunger. I’m so excited to be on the student board this year and work with my lovely copartner Sammy to put on awesome events for the community! Hillel has always been such a warm and welcoming place for me, especially as a transfer student, and I hope to help each student find their place in our diverse community!
